The BLUEGRASS GOSPEL SEGMENT is an hour of inspirational music with some twang. Hosted by Sandy Taurone of Poplar Bluff, the program airs every Tuesday at 6:00 pm. The Bluegrass Gospel Segment is a continuation of special programming dedicated to Bluegrass Gospel music that began in the 1980s with the Bluegrass Gospel Show, followed by 2 Girls Bluegrass and Always Bluegrass which often hosted award winning artists in the studio. Sandy is an avid music supporter and works with the children’s choir and praise team at her local church. She has played in area Bluegrass bands for over thirty years and continues writing and performing Bluegrass music.
